Why choose to install solar with battery in ACT (NextGen)

Installing Solar PV is one of the most effective way to reduce your power bills especially in ACT where there is government rebate available to help you with the cost.

Solar produces energy during the day for you to use in house rather than buying from the grid, when you use the electricity produced by the solar pv you will be using your own electricity and not from the grid hence you will be saving the x amount of cost which you were supposed to be paying to the energy retailer.

When the Sunset you will buy from the grid again and pay the x amount but if you have the battery installed you can use the energy stored in the battery rather than buying from the grid again hence saving you from paying the high tariff rate from energy retailer.

In ACT NextGen support programme helps you to fund the battery system by ACT Government rebate programme. The battery rebate is $3,500 (excluding GST) or 50% of the battery price (excluding GST) – whichever is lowest. (Check Nextgen website for rebate update)

NextGen has paved the way in helping ACT to be the forefront of solar in Australia and now ACT

IN 2022 Q1, there was 19,842kW OF SOLAR installed which is 2,209 systemthis made up 3% of total installed volume nationwide last year

This shows that ACT residence are adopting solar and battery to bring down their electricity bills

According to the report form https://www.minister.industry.gov.au/ministers/taylor/media-releases back in November 2021 Australians continue to lead the world in uptake of rooftop solar, with 3 million solar systems installed across Australia.

This year, rooftop solar will contribute 7 per cent of the energy going into our national electricity grid. And Over 30,000 ACT homes and businesses have solar panels, including about 15 per cent of all ACT households. Their combined capacity now exceeds 100 megawatts (MW).

I recently had a 30 kWh solar battery installed by ADS Solar, following the 13 kW solar panel system they installed at my home four years ago.

Since my original solar installation, the ADS team has continued to keep me informed about suitable battery options and competitive offers. Their sales team was knowledgeable and informative, which helped me make a confident decision when the right option became available.

Once I paid the deposit, the installation was arranged very quickly. The entire process was smooth and well coordinated—from the sales and pre-installation teams through to installation and after-sales support. I was particularly impressed by how organised the ADS Solar team was and how professionally each stage was managed.

I would happily recommend ADS Solar. A special thank you to Akki and Jessica from the sales team, Shazia from the installation team, and Sohel from customer service for their excellent support throughout the process.

Got referred to by a friend and in an industry with stiff competition ADS solar has surely delivered on customer service, communication, quality of installation and ongoing after service. Word of mouth references are extremely important and in this case I have thanked my friend as ADS team ( Priyanka, Hritik and team) has surely delivered!
